You can take on all types of tracks and trails,  from gentle ambles along the crystal clear streams, to longer treks through rugged alpine terrain. Harrietville has two world-renowned walking tracks which depart from town; Bon Accord Spur and Bungalow Spur Walking Tracks. These tracks take the walker to the Razorback, a rewarding hike to Mount Feathertop. The village also boasts family friendly walks close to the township, many perfect for walking and cycling.

Popular family friendly activities include trying your luck at the Harrietville Trout Farm, or when the weather warms up picking your own blueberries or wandering though the fragrant fields of the local lavender farm. There are also shorter walking tracks around the village, the perfect distance for a pair of little legs.
