For those seeking a Changing Places facility, consider Howmans Gap Alpine Discovery Camp, situated on the Bogong High Plains (about four kilometres below Falls Creek Resort).

A peaceful route through beautiful countryside, the well-maintained Rail Trails are accessible for all, with smooth, compacted surfaces ideal for wheelchairs, prams, and cyclists. Enjoy the sensory elements of nature as you walk, wheel or ride along clear pathways to picnic areas and rest spots.
Steavenson Falls
Witness the power of Steavenson Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Victoria, as it plunges 84 metres into the valley. Follow a well-maintained, all-abilities path on a leisurely 350-metre stroll to the base viewing platform. For a more magical adventure, visit after dusk when floodlights illuminate the falls and the gravelled path.
High Country Lookouts and Views
If the idea of trekking to a mountain top or climbing ladders up rocky escarpments doesn’t do it for you, never fear. There are plenty of stunning, accessible lookouts in the High Country that you can drive right up to, or are a short, easy stroll away.

Indoor Swimming Pools
Benalla Aquatic Centre - accessible, with ramp access to the pools and other facilities, including a water wheelchair available upon request. The facility also offers accessible parking. The centre is managed by YMCA Victoria and is designed to cater to people of all ages and abilities.
Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre - includes a warm water indoor pool, a hydrotherapy pool, and a toddler's pool. The facility also offers accessible change rooms, including adult changing beds, and access ramps and hoists.
Bright Sports Centre - has a 17m heated indoor swimming pool with a hoist available. The centre also has accessible parking, ramps and accessible change rooms.
ACCESSIBLE PLAY SPACES AND PLAYGROUNDS
Marysville Kin Playspace
The Kin Playspace in Marysville is an inclusive adventure playground designed to be accessible for a wide range of ages and abilities. Catering for children aged one to 12, the space features thoughtfully designed equipment such as an elevated sandpit for easier access, gentle slides, a roundabout, rope climbing net, dual flying foxes, timber swings, and a water play structure.
Batchelors Green Reserve – Wangaratta
Well maintained lawns and a playground, along with convenient amenities such as covered barbeque areas, picnic tables, and toilets. Notably, the park is also home to "The Studio" which serves as a hub for Wangaratta Artists Society. One of the highlights of Batchelors Green is the Liberty Swing, which is designed to make the park accessible for people with disabilities.
Mansfield Botanic Park Adventure Playground
Catering for a wide range of ages and abilities, the Adventure Playground is the perfect spot to relax and spend time with friends and family.
Bollygum Park – Kinglake
Bollygum Park is a magical two and a half acre wonderland and playground based on the children's book by Australian author and wildlife artist Garry Fleming.
Whitfield Adventure Playground and Bicycle Hub
In the heart of the King Valley, the thoughtfully designed Whitfield Adventure Playground encourages children to connect with nature, with natural elements and a range of play equipment designed to appeal to a wide range of ages and abilities.
Myrtleford Mosaic Trail
This scenic sealed Myrtleford Mosaic Trail loop can be started from within the Myrtleford township or be included as an addition to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. The main portion of the loop runs from Rotary Park to Apex Park and follows the Ovens River closely as it passes through native bush and crosses the river twice.
Mirimbah Park
An idyllic riverside setting, Mirimbah Park is bordered by the shallow-flowing waters of the Delatite River. The kids (big and little) will love splashing amongst the rock pools in the river. A playground, barbecues, seating and toilets are also available on site.
Splash Parks
Bright Splash Park - In Centenary Park, alongside Morses Creek, with design centred on the region's mining heritage and natural environment, there are four splash pads, each designed to suit different age groups from toddlers through to teenagers.
Baanh ba Djila Splash Park (Eildon) - with its three main areas, including the 'fishing boat' with a water slide, the 'canoe' with a water bucket and the area with Macquarie Perch and Rainbow Trout statues. The reserve also includes upgraded toilet and change facilities (Changing Places), ensuring comfort for visitors and access for all abilities.
Benalla Splash Park - features various water jets, sprays, and structures that provide a fun and interactive experience. The space also has a rock climbing wall, kids' playground and outdoor seating.
