Ride Marysville

FERN-FILLED FLOW & THRILLS

Chase more than waterfalls in lush Marysville. Ride year-round gravel and summer MTB and road routes.

This pretty town located just 1.5 hours from Melbourne at the base of Lake Mountain is passionate about all things bikes. From village cycling sculptures to huge descent MTB trails, gravel weaving through sky reaching trees and a 7 Peaks Challenge road climb, 'The Ville' brings the riding stoke.

Lake Mountain MTB Park

Lake Mountain Bike Park transforms from a winter snow play zone into a green season MTB playground in summer.

At the top take on beginner-friendly green trails and technical cross-country routes. The big star is the 28km Cascades Trail descending 1550m all the way to Marysville. On the darker side of blue, this trail serves up a serious challenge with four types of dirt, steep berms and natural and built features. Book a ride to the top with the Lake Mountain MTB Shuttle service.

Buxton MTB Park

From September to June ride Buxton MTB Park's flowing 23km of singletrack weaving through the fern-filled Black Range State Forest.

Featuring gentle climbs and fast, flowing descents, this park’s 9 purpose-built trails are organized into signed loops, making it easy for riders of all abilities to navigate. As a fun, primarily intermediate trail network, Buxton MTB Park is great for cyclists of varying levels to grab ride time together.
