Spring Gravel

For an invigorating challenge and a mixed bag of landscapes from rural farmland to dense forest, check out the advanced Mansfield – Mt Samaria Loop.

Expert riders can work up a mountain-sized appetite on the pine-lined Whitfield – Il Monte loop, with solid climbs, sustained descents and stunning views.

Revel in stunning Lake Eildon views on the Goin’ to Bonnie Doon loop, finishing up at Alexandra's On Point Brewery for a well-deserved brew.

With its isolated feel, tough climbs and Lake Hume views, the Tallangatta – Lake Road Loop is an exciting challenge for experienced, self-sufficient cyclists.

One for the advanced riders, the 50km+ Beechworth – Eldorado Loop features 1000m of climbing along famed "rolled gold" crushed granite trails.

Pedal to the Pub

Pedal the flat, easy Milawa Makers Loop, where you can slowly graze your way through the region with endless stops for farm-gate cheeses, local wines, and elevated vineyard lunches.

Gravel grind on the Beechworth – Stanley – Murmungee Loop, treating yourself to expansive valley views at the lookout before a warming winter lunch stop at the cosy Stanley Pub.

Tackle the advanced Kinglake – Captains Ride gravel loop through Mt Robertson State Park before rolling into the relaxed Kinglake Pub for a well-earned winter lunch.

Challenge yourself on the advanced Tallangatta – Lake Road Loop, taking in the isolated gravel tracks and sweeping Lake Hume vistas before detouring to the Bethanga Hotel for a classic pub lunch.

Send it down the legendary, hand-cut trails of Big Hill Mountain Bike Park before rolling over to Crank Handle Brewery to thaw out with a fresh craft beer by the outdoor fire.

Shred the diverse network of trails at the Eildon Mountain Bike Park, from pump tracks to flowy downhills, before rolling into the nearby Lake Eildon Hotel for a well-earned, hearty pub meal by the fire.
