RUTHERGLEN SILOS BY RONAN HOLDSWORTH 

The Rutherglen Silo Precinct features "Birds of Seasons," a vibrant four-part mural series celebrating local fauna and history, by artist Ronan Holdsworth.

Each silo pairs a seasonal bird (like the Pink Robin or Eastern Spinebill) with regional flora and hidden community stories, honouring Rutherglen’s agricultural and gold rush heritage.

"The Colour Bridge" by Skunk Control, a Melbourne-based creative collective known for blending art with science and technology, transforms the 6km Bright to Porepunkah section of the trail.

Titled Ever New, the bridge uses vibrant, wildflower-inspired panels and integrated lighting to celebrate the High Country’s seasonal rhythms. It offers a magical, family-friendly landmark within the broader Murray to Mountains network.

The "Harvest Trail" is a whimsical open-air gallery along the easy, flat 6km section linking Milawa and Oxley.

Created by Melbourne designer, illustrator and maker, Beci Orpin, these vibrant, oversized sculptures celebrate local produce. Orpin’s signature playful style, developed through local school workshops, transforms regional agricultural heritage into a joyful, family-friendly journey.

Located along the Bowser to Tarrawingee section of the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, "Magpie Family" is a striking installation by renowned artist Emily Floyd.

This site-specific park blends art with adventure, featuring nature play zones and whimsical "Rock-Eating Rabbit" sculptures that celebrate local legends and the High Country’s unique landscape.
