Not your typical gravel route, this adventure cycling out-and-back ride requires expert skill levels.

The route's steady climb up Mt Nelse is an exposed traverse through heathland, where the low-lying vegetation and high altitude combine to offer breathtaking views throughout the journey. Expect to navigate challenging segments including dismount locations as you ride bush tracks with variable surface quality. The ride culminates in a very technical climb to the Spion Kopje summit. Offering some of the most spectacular views in the High Country and a profound sense of isolation, this route is a must for adventure seekers and expert gravel grinders.
