The operator's passion stems from first experiencing the sport in 1970. The love of skiing developed from living in British Columbia, Canada, and learning how to cross country ski at a very young age. The tour company has over 50 years of on snow experience and cross-country certifications from Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors, CANSI, in Cross Country and Telemark.
They provide beginner to advanced lessons for cross country skiing in classic and skate. Lessons are specific to your goals and range from one to two hours from private to small groups, maximum six persons.
Snowshoeing is a great introduction to the snow world. Their tours cater to your needs and run for one to two hours from one to eight persons. Enjoy a hot chocolate refreshment on the tour. Snowshoe Tours are offered at Mt Hotham and Dinner Plain, snow dependent.
Learning something new can be a little daunting, with support and skill development it will come with high reward. Venture out with the team that puts you and your safety first, getting you on snow to develop confidence. Once the skiing technique is learnt, it's only a matter of time and mileage to be at ease with the Nordic way of skiing.
