Re-live the movies and ride to Craig's Hut with McCormack's Mountain Valley Trail Rides, to see the set where The Man from Snowy River was filmed. The first day starts from King Saddle on Mount Stirling, making your way through the magnificent Woollybutt Forest and gnarled snow gums taking in the spectacular 360 degree views from the summit of Mount Stirling, as your horse picks his way along old cattle tracks and makes his way to Mount Clear for lunch. After lunch descend into the King Valley along the King River through the towering white gums and to their mustering hut, enjoy a camp-oven roast then relax around the campfire. The second day begins with a hearty breakfast, then up to the Purcell's mustering hut, Razorback Hut. Enjoy lunch in amongst the towering woollybutt trees before your trusty steeds begin following old cattle and logging trails into the head of the Delatite river, and through the many river crossings with the magnificent towering gums and fern trees. Riding out into the beautiful Mirrimbah park, once a logging town at the base of Mount Buller.
