Paint pouring is a method that is easy to access if you haven't had much exposure to painting but you're interested, or if painting or using colour seems daunting, or if you'd just love to experience how colours interact and morph into each other in real time. Paint pouring is also an excellent way to process emotion or get in touch with your spirituality and inner self.
You might be surprised by what emerges through the process of making your paintings.
The first section of the workshop will focus on exploring your creative journey and reflecting on what is on your mind at present that you want to process or express. You will explore the various approaches to paint pouring. Emanuela will guide you through the preparation process of mixing the paints with medium.
The paintings will require time to dry and can be collected the following Saturday from Stable Studios.
The workshop includes two stretched canvases of different shapes and sizes, high quality acrylic paint and guided tuition in a welcoming environment.
