Beechworth Chinese Gardens

Cnr Albert Road & McConville Avenue Beechworth

The 1850's gold rush saw many Chinese nationals converge on Beechworth seeking their fortune.

The Beechworth Chinese Gardens were created to celebrate and honour Beechworth’s rich Chinese heritage.

Designed using Feng Shui principles, the Chinese Gardens feature a series of ponds, extensive plantings and peaceful places for contemplation.

Visitors are invited to wander through the grounds and to sit and reflect in the peaceful surrounds.

The Beechworth Chinese Gardens are a short, leisurly walk from the Beechworth Post Office in the centre of town.
