The iconic Bogong to Hotham (B2H) Rooftop Run returns in January, celebrating its 36th running and continuing a remarkable legacy deeply embedded in Australian trail running folklore.
Proudly presented by Trailsplus, this historic mountain ultra returns to its grassroots traditions, challenging runners to an unforgettable journey across the spectacular rooftop of Victoria's High Country.
Starting at Mountain Creek Campground near Tawonga, runners tackle the demanding ascent of Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain, before descending the rugged T-Spur to Big River. Another challenging climb via Duane's Spur leads to the magnificent Bogong High Plains and Langford Gap. The adventure continues across breathtaking alpine landscapes before descending to the Cobungra River and tackling the final climb via Swindler's Spur to the spectacular finish at Mt Hotham summit.
Widely regarded as one of Australia's toughest mountain running challenges, B2H combines rugged terrain, spectacular mountain panoramas, rich history and an extraordinary sense of achievement.
Runners, families and support crews are encouraged to make a weekend of it, exploring the wonderful hospitality, attractions and natural beauty of Mt Beauty, Tawonga and Mt Hotham.
