Family-owned and founded in 2017 by Bree and Leigh Attwood, Backwoods celebrates Australian ingredients and craftsmanship, using Australian-grown grains, local casks and native botanicals to create truly distinctive spirits.
Located at the historic Yack Station Precinct, visitors can discover the art of craft distilling, enjoy a guided whisky or gin tasting paddle, or relax with a freshly made cocktail alongside the copper stills. The working distillery offers a glimpse into the craft behind each bottle, while the Whisky Hand Fill Experience gives visitors the opportunity to fill their own bottle straight from the barrel. A selection of award-winning spirits is also available to take home.
