FUN FOR THE WHOLE GANG

Hike tree-lined snowshoe trails, ride all-day toboggan slopes, bounce and spin down tube parks or take a ride with the local sled dogs. There are plenty of great spots and experiences in the High Country you’re up for a not-so-serious snow getaway.

Windy Corner at Falls Creek.

Boasting a cracking tobogganing slope with day parking and a nearby cafe, Windy Corner is perfect for families.

The slopes are free to explore, all you need is a booking, an approved toboggan and a sense of adventure.

Mount Buffalo.

With two designated toboggan areas, Mt Buffalo is made for snowplay.

Dingo Dell is best for young families, with a gentle slope and plenty of space for activities.

Cresta Valley is a little more diverse with a wide range of terrain and scenery. There is also a large open plateau, ready to explore!

Dinner Plain.

The quaint and cruisy Dinner Plain village offers tobogganing, snowshoeing and snow play options galore – including a frisbee golf course and Alpine Playground.

The Snow Park is perfect for beginners too, with a gentle downhill slope.

Wire Plain.

Half way between Dinner Plain and Mt Hotham, the beautiful and sheltered Wire Plain has a moderate toboggan slope suited to kids of all ages.

While you’re there, pop by the Snow Stuff Park and hire some fun snow play gear.

Mt Stirling.

For a memorable and relaxed first snow experience, take the kids to Mt Stirling.

Have a crack at building a snowman or a snowball flight. Hit the toboggan slopes or head out for a snowshoe, and just have a downright wholesome time.
