Spend a magical afternoon by the lake at an exclusively private waterfront location only you can access. Let us look after every detail as you relax and enjoy the company of your friends and loved ones.

Your adventure begins at the heritage listed cellar door of Lake Moodemere Estate. Here you will enjoy a glass of Sparkling Single Vineyard Wine, while your hosts share a little about this historic property and its rich production. A walk along the high bank provides views over Lake Moodemere, before the track descends into the natural surrounds of the waterfront reserve. During the short walk to your private picnic spot, keep an eye out for native wildlife like kangaroos, echidna and platypus. Your table will be set with glasses, tableware and fresh flowers, with a sumptuous picnic chilling in readiness under the shade of the river gums. While away the afternoon and when you’re ready, embark on the short walk back to the cellar door, where you will have the opportunity to sample the range of single vineyard wines produced by sixth generation vigneron, Michael Chambers. For those who’d like to linger, tea and coffee may be enjoyed in the century old gardens of Lake Moodemere Estate. For the full Moodemere experience, add two nights in the Moodemere Lake House with continental breakfasts of Estate grown and baked produce.
