As you make your way towards Glenrowan from Wangaratta, you will stumble upon Fosters Lake, a charming little body of water that offers an ideal location for fishing.

While the little ones can have a blast casting their lines, the grown-ups can unwind and appreciate the picturesque beauty of the surrounding bushland or simply watch the ducks go by.

New picnic tables and a short walk around the perimeter of the lake, make this historical little lake an excellent stop just off the Hume Highway.

This peaceful oasis is only a stone's throw away from Glenrowan's main street.
