If Rutherglen were a person, they would be dressed smartly in tweed. Not your “didn’t quite nail it” geography teacher tweed, but the quirky, sophisticated, young (or young at heart) trend-setter. As such, the Tweed Ride is back in Rutherglen for its 10th year running and bringing with it all the three piece suits, flat caps, skirts and penny farthings you’ll need for your complete vintage experience!
The ride will start on the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and stop for brunch at Andrew Buller Wines. As your adventure continues you’ll meander through gently swaying willows along the Murray River with towering gums and vineyards only a stone’s throw away.
By the time you’ve reached Pfeiffer Wines for lunch, you’ll deserve a rest under the shady trees, relaxing and enjoying local produce and Pfeiffers’ famously robust wines. Your final stop is a delicious afternoon tea with the Gallery Cafe at the Rutherglen Wine Experience.
