This 69km ride takes in some of the highlights of gravel riding around the Kinglake Ranges with 1,400m of ascent to tackle along the way.

Dropping off the mountain, the old Kinglake Road is a wide and continual downhill track with the stunning backdrop of the Kinglake National Park. The trail emerges in the Yarra Valley before you return back into the hills via a great gravel climb with views back into the flatlands. Heading deeper into the bush around Toolangi with its towering gums the trail is dominated by bushland and quiet gravel trails before a punishing sharp final climb brings you back to the top of the ranges with great views of Melbourne as you power back into town.
