There are many ways to utilise herbs and plants for our healing and well being. A favourite way is to infuse medicinal herbs in a variety of oils to be used in balms, salves and other folk remedies.
In this beginner herbalism workshop you will: discuss many different carrier oils and their unique benefits, learn techniques to create the most potent herbal infused oils and how to turn them into remedies. Discover the qualities of some herbs that lend themselves well to topical healing. Talk about the benefits of essential oils and when to use them to enhance remedies vs when to opt out. Sip on herbal teas and nibble on a local platter of delicious goodies. Craft your own therapeutic Lip Balm to bring home! All handouts, materials, herbs and samples will be provided.
