The Rotary Club of Rutherglen co-ordinates and with the sponsorsip of the Indgo Shire runs the event in Rutherglen.
The day commences with breakfast at 7:45am, followed by the flag raising ceremony, a presentation by a shire councillor and an Australia Day ambassador and finally presentation of Indigo Shire Australia Day Awards.
