Lorn an adjective meaning forsaken, desolate, bereft or forlorn – archaic, lost, ruined or undone. These works were captured on a work trip to Las Vegas and Los Angeles in 2011. They depict Death Valley, Valley of Fires and the Mojave Desert, described by Capobianco as an abundance of desolate beauty.
