  • Restaurant and Cafe

Café Derailleur is a unique and quirky neighbourhood café located conveniently opposite the Wangaratta Railway Station. House baked breads, quality breakfast and lunch offerings combined with Coffee Supreme coffee made with passion, make Café Derailleur an experience not to be missed in North East Victoria.

All food is made in house where possible so think of fruit sourdough toast, house baked sourdough and house made gnocchi, or beetroot and sweet potato fritters which are starting to gather a cult following.

For lunch, fresh healthy dishes would be a great start or you can head downclassic path with pulled pork bun with slaw and lime mayonnaise.

The sensational food offering is complemented by a drinks list that includes a short list of local wines by the glass or bottle, craft beers and ciders.

For something refreshing try iced tea with muddled lime or iced hibiscus, ginger, orange and mint. Since Derailleur was once a milk bar you know you will get a cracker milkshake too.

Professional friendly service and Owner Eric Bittner’s bright shirts will put a smile on your face. Easy parking, curbside dining and an secluded courtyard add to the reasons to visit.
