Buffalo Bed and Bike is ideal self-contained accommodation for families, small groups and wheelchair users wanting to cycle the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail, hike in the Mount Buffalo National Park, kayak along the Ovens River or just relax and chill out with great views.
There are the attractions of nearby Bright as well as nearby alpine areas of Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham, Mt Beauty and Falls Creek. It is surrounded by lush farmland with vineyards and farm animals with the Mount Buffalo National park behind you.
Buffalo Bed and Bike comprises a spacious three-bedroom farmhouse and separate fully accessible two-bedroom apartment located on a 2.5 acre rural block between Bright and Myrtleford. Both have views to Mount Buffalo and the Ovens Valley and outdoor entertaining areas with Webers.
There is reverse-cycle air-conditioning in both and the main house also has a wood heater.
Buffalo Bed and Bike is pet-friendly, wheelchair-friendly and cycle-friendly. The owners live on site in their own apartment.

This new two-bedroom apartment is certified accessible accommodation with wide doorways and corridor, fully accessible bathroom/toilet, electric adjustable queen bed and height-adjustable table. Features include Mount Buffalo view, air-conditioning, barbecue, and kitchenette. The living/dining areas are spacious as are the bedrooms.
All linen, towels and toiletries are supplied. The second bedroom has a double bed and optional single bed.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with accessible sink and a dishwasher.

The house has lounge room, family room and dining room as well as three bedrooms, a well supplied kitchen, and large bathroom with separate toilet.
With a magnificent view of Mount Buffalo there is a large back yard, verandah and patio with BBQ, dining and lounge.
The bedrooms have a queen bed, double bed and two single beds respectively. There is also a sofa-bed, portacot and spare mattress.
The beds are made up with linen, doonas and pillows and each room as a fan.
A washing machine and dryer are located in the laundry with washing powder supplied as well as an iron and ironing board.
